La complejidad del conocimiento actual es de tal naturaleza que en ninguna profesión que se precie de seria se puede prescindir de actividades periódicas a efecto de analizar los avances logrados en las distintas disciplinas que integran una profesión. La de astrónomo es cada día mas compleja y apasionante. Se ha pasado de la romántica visión de astrónomos pasando malas noches pegados al visor de un telescopio a científicos elaborando teorías en los campos de la observación macro hasta teorías en la observación de partículas y dentro de esos extremos , a la elaboración de modelos computacionales para entender procesos complicados o al análisis de la información que se recoge en el espectro observable y no observable. Aqui se publica-como una ilustracion para el lego, las reuniones internacionales que efectua la Union Astronómica Internacional ( cubre el periodo de un año: julio 2010 a julio 2011 (ver en sentido inverso).
